Here's a small sample of the feedback we've received about our speed dating events
I first came to a When the Music Stops event in 2004, on a Bank Holiday Sunday, it had been a glorious day and my friend Sue and I nervously drove the 30 miles or so to the rural Hotel location. It was upmarket and sophisticated, a very nice venue indeed.
It was daunting at first but I soon relaxed and got into it, Speed Dating had become great fun and then Greg appeared, I looked up and there was an instant attraction. Sure enough within 48 hours it was confirmed that Greg and I were a 'Match', I was so pleased.

Our relationship didn't happen instantly, it just grew slowly and crept up on us, it was 4 months before we got really close. But we had a lovely Christmas together, just the two of us. We enjoy the Theatre, Cinemas, Walks in the Country, Picnics too.
I'd recommend it to anybody, where else can you meet and converse with so many other eligible people in one night. I have spread the word about When the Music Stops amongst all my friends and I'd say try it you will be very pleasantly surprised by how much you enjoy it.

I recently attended one of your events and found it to be very welcoming and quite down to earth. I felt quite nervous before attending as this was the first event of it's type that I have ever attended. I met with someone and we started to see each other. I found what I can only describe to be the girl of my dreams. We have now been together for 3 months and we are very happy. Thank you.

I went along to your Speed Dating event at Via Fossa earlier this year as I was new to Nottingham and thought that I would get to meet some new friends to go out with at weekends. I was quite nervous going on my own, but found that everyone was really laid back. I talked to a few people at the bar before we started and a very nice looking guy caught my eye. When we got to our mini-date, I was so nervous, I never imagined he would tick me. But sure enough, he did and 3 months later we are still together and I can't imagine being without him. I just wanted to say thank you and to anyone worried about going along, it really can work!

I met Helen at the first ever When the Music Stops Speed Dating Event in Northern Ireland back in June 2007. It was my first time Speed Dating and Helen’s as well. She’s stunning I’d spotted her well before I got the chance to ‘speed date’ her ! We clicked straight away but in the bar afterwards when I asked for her number she told me to ‘wait and see.’ What a buzz the next day when I got my matches and she’d ticked me too. We’ve been together ever since and she still keeps me guessing!

I went Speed Dating the first time as a favour to a friend, I couldn’t believe what a great night I had. When I got a few dates out of it as well I was converted ! At my third event I met Heather and we’ve been together for a while now, we get on really well and we’re really happy. Anyway if it doesn’t work out I know where to go now!!

I met Marie at Speed Dating in 2004 and we have been together ever since. We got on famously right from the off, she really is a lovely girl, if I had to rate Marie on how nice she is I'd put a tick in every box….she's perfect.
We've holidayed together in Spain and Christmas was a right laugh, Marie's kids made Christmas for me, it was great to be part of the family.
I've been going to When the Music Stops events for ages now and all I can say is I'd really recommend them to anybody. I'm a good looking guy and I'd like to think I can attract female company very easily but where else can you check out that vital chemistry with so many eligible single ladies at once? It's great fun...so if you can't decide, go for it you'll be so pleased that you did!

I first went to a When the Music Stops event in December 2003, very reluctantly with two female friends, my life was at quite a low ebb at the time with both work and family problems dragging me down. My life was very much at a crossroads.
I'll admit I was nervous at first but I relaxed after 15-20 minutes and realised this was a really excellent way of meeting new friends and potential new partners. The concept really is first class and it works so well.
I got 5 matches from the night and one asked me out on a date straight away, incredibly we're still together today 2 years and 2 months later. I'd recommend to all of you to give it a try. I went reluctantly for a night out and I ended up with a partner for life, I'm still pinching myself now!
