When The Music Stops comes to Newark bringing with it, its exciting reputation for Speed dating. Our first event for 2009 means you can put those new year resolutions into effect!!

Meet and chat to up to 30 likeminded singles at this fabulous singles dating event. This venue offers luxurious leather sofas, soft lighting and background music helps create a truly relaxed and intimate atmosphere separated from the main bar.

Our Speed Dating evenings are a great way to meet other singletons in a fun atmosphere. Just come along either on your own or with a friend and our hosts will quickly introduce you to other Speed daters.

Speed Dating is a chance to meet new friends, it is best approached with an open mind, you’ll have a great time and meet lots of single people and the chance to meet that someone special.
On arrival our hosts will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar to mingle with other guests.
Then the host will announce that the dating begins. Women will be seated, while men will rotate between tables every 5 minutes so you get to meet and chat to everyone at the event. After each date, guests mark on a scorecard whether they would like to see that person again as a date, friend or no thanks. We take a break halfway through the evening so Speed Daters are able to replenish their drink and update their score cards.
The Speed Dating sessions finish around 10.30pm, when guests are invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar and further mingling.
Scorecards are collected in by your hosts and we aim to send results within 48 hours, although normally done within 24 hours. You can then contact anyone you matched with.
