Please arrive from 7pm to check in, ready for a prompt 7.30 start. You’ll be welcomed by our host upon arrival, then invited to the bar to drink, relax and mingle while we register all our guests.

Once everyone has arrived the host will explain how speed dating works and answer any questions. Then the dating begins, with women staying seated while men rotate every 4-6 minutes when a bell rings. Guests mark on a match sheet whether they want to see each person again, handing this in at the end. The speed dating finishes around 10pm, at which point you’re invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar, for further mingling and flirting.

Hogs Head
Main Entrance The Hogshead in Exeter is a spacious, trendy, and lively venue on two floors right in the town centre. In fine weather the whole front (pictured) opens up to the outside.
