For the best night out in town...come to the country. South Normanton is equi-distance from Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield. It is within 1 mile of Junction 28 of the M1 and only a short drive from Mansfield and Chesterfield. Consequently we get up to 200 singles, who join us for what is usually a pulsating evening for Over 35's, where we play some great Disco sounds from down the years as well as bang up to date music from today's charts. Our DJ is the ever popular Paul Trussell Music Show and Paul will play your choice of music too - just ask. The dancefloor is therefore usually full all night. But be early, we can only hold 200 people, and we are usually up to this capacity during the evening, all tables are taken by 8.30. But book your place online and if you let us know we will save you a table if we can, just ring and ask! A truly great night out!

After a short break for the summer holidays we're back EVERY Thursday from 1st September and the theme EVERY week is the very popular 60's and 70's music scene. A typical La Tasca restaurant If finding Mr or Ms right is proving to be elusive at the present time, then why not try Dinner Dating and our great new Derby venue, La Tasca, in historic Friargate. The Boundary
The Boundary - Exterior The Boundary is a truly excellent venue, it's a Pub, Hotel, Conference and Entertainment Centre all rolled into one. Tucked away on the Broadmeadow's estate in South Normanton, Derbyshire. It is located literally a mile from Junction 28 of the M1. It can also be approached from both the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A38 1 mile south of the Motorway Island. To find the Boundary, take the exit on the M1 Motorway Island at J28 just before the Northbound M1, signposted South Normanton and Pinxton, go straight through the village, straight over the mini island at the BP Petrol Station and at the Pub called The Hawthorn's turn left down the hill. At the next mini island take a left onto the Broadmeadows estate and The Boundary is 400yds on the left on the Broadmeadows Business Park. You will find us in the private Meridian Suite at the back on the far right. It's about a mile from the Motorway and just 2 left turns will get you there! It's superbly welcoming and very friendly, so if you're coming alone don't worry, let us know you're coming and we'll look out for you. The pub boasts great value drinks and meals. We're in the seperate Meridian Suite, which is an excellent venue in its own right with a capacity of 250, a small stage, large dance floor and great bar prices too. If you want to make a night of it, the Boundary has 14 high quality bedrooms, with some INCREDIBLE discounts available for our clients, if you mention When the Music Stops at the time of booking. So if you're travelling a fair distance, or fancy a lie in the morning, it's from just £22.50 per person for a double or twin room, based on 2 sharing and that includes 2 Full English breakfasts into the bargain. Charges do vary however and rooms may cost a little more at peak times. It's well worth seeking out this hidden jewel of a venue and joining us for a GREAT night.
