Speed Dating at the Columba (22 - 46)
This is our Christmas event in Inverness and perhaps our last event for a while, so make the most of your chance to come along and meet other single people in Inverness. For this event there is no restriction on the ratio of lads to lassies, as the evening will be a social rather than a dating occassion although you never know.
It is great to meet new people and make new friends - and at this time of the year that becomes even m ore important. So why not get 2010 off to the best of starts with an expanded circle of new contacts and new friends
Our event, hosted by Gill, will be excellent evening out if you are interested in meeting new people and making new friends and maybe even starting down the road to finding someone extra special.
This evening event, at the Columba Hotel, Inverness will be informal and varied and certainly fun.
You will have the chance to meet other singles 1-1 and there will be plenty of opportunity to mingle as a group as well.

The Columba Hotels atmosphere is in perfect keeping with its location, where modern comfort and contemporary style blend seamlessly with original features dating back to 1881 when the hotel was built. The hotel has been sensitively refurbished recently and the new General Manager Daniel Lawrence is behind changes being implemented to make dining and relaxing at the Columba hard to beat.
Located on the bank of the Ness River, across the river from the city centre, the hotel is conveniently located and yet enjoys an enviable quiet outlook over the river towards the castle. The train and bus station are less than 1km away and parking is only a short walk.
When the Music Stops events will normally take place on the first floor of the hotel where the views from the tall windows immediately command respect - and the airiness of the high ornate ceilings in the upstairs bar and, restaurant create a great ambience. Downstairs McNabs Bar Bistro has a complimentary style but more modern atmosphere with a wide range of malt whiskies and specialist ales from the Black Isle amongst its offerings. Just the place to chill out with new friends.
The hotels new Castle Restaurant upstairs takes complete advantage of its spectacular views of the river and the castle whilst serving a selection of fine local produce and classical dishes.
