The Boundary is a truly excellent venue, it's a Pub, Hotel, Conference and Entertainment Centre all rolled into one. Tucked away on the Broadmeadow's estate in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
It is located literally a mile from Junction 28 of the M1. It can also be approached from both the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A38 1 mile south of the Motorway Island.
To find the Boundary, take the exit on the M1 Motorway Island at J28 just before the Northbound M1, signposted South Normanton and Pinxton, go straight through the village, straight over the mini island at the BP Petrol Station and at the Pub called The Hawthorn's turn left down the hill.
At the next mini island take a left onto the Broadmeadows estate and The Boundary is 400yds on the left on the Broadmeadows Business Park. You will find us in the private Meridian Suite at the back on the far right. It's about a mile from the Motorway and just 2 left turns will get you there
It's superbly welcoming and very friendly, so if you're coming alone don't worry, let us know you're coming and we'll look out for you. The pub boasts great value drinks and meals. We're in the seperate Meridian Suite, which is an excellent venue in its own right with a capacity of 250, a small stage, large dance floor and great bar prices too.

The Columba Hotels atmosphere is in perfect keeping with its location, where modern comfort and contemporary style blend seamlessly with original features dating back to 1881 when the hotel was built. What to expect on the night
The usual start time is 7.30pm however please do arrive from 7pm to be meet by Eloise & Raj for the check in formalities which are minimal. The price will usually include a complimentary drink on arrival to help calm any nerves and give everyone the chance to get to know each other. If you're coming alone, you won't be alone for more than a few seconds! Just walk into the restaurant, the staff will direct you to our Dinner Party and we'll do all the rest to make you welcome and part of the group straight away.
Getting started
Once everyone has arrived and has had the chance to acclimatise to the atmosphere, we take our places around the table. Everyone has a place reserved for them at the dinner table and a Place card with their name printed on it. The tables are arranged s that males and females to sit next to each other wherever possible, enabling new friendships to develop naturally during the evening.
Everyone has a place name card indicating where they will be seated. The ladies will stay in the same seat during the meal but the men will move around the table between each course, to enable everyone to get to know each other.
We do however strive to provide extremely good value wherever we are dining and we do pay attention to the little details that go towards making your evening an enjoyable one. It's not the same as just turning up at the restaurant and buying a meal alone or in a small group. An awful lot of time and trouble has been put into arranging the evening long before you get to the restaurant.

For this evening we will be dining at the attractive Craighaar Hotel in the Bankhead area of Aberdeen. The hotel has an excellent reputation for its innovative cuisine ( ahidden treasure) and with the development of their new restaurant we will be well looked after in this excellent venue. We will be in a private room within the hotel and the ambience of the evening promises to be superb.
The evening will start at 7.30pm with a glass o wine and the opportunity to meet your fellow diners. During dinner we will mixing to ensure that we will all get the chance to meet each other.

To find the Boundary, take the exit on the M1 Motorway Island at J28 just before the Northbound M1, signposted South Normanton and Pinxton, go straight through the village, straight over the mini island at the BP Petrol Station and at the Pub called The Hawthorn's turn left down the hill.
At the next mini island take a left onto the Broadmeadows estate and The Boundary is 400yds on the left on the Broadmeadows Business Park. You will find us in the private Meridian Suite at the back on the far right. It's about a mile from the Motorway and just 2 left turns will get you there
It's superbly welcoming and very friendly, so if you're coming alone don't worry, let us know you're coming and we'll look out for you. The pub boasts great value drinks and meals. We're in the seperate Meridian Suite, which is an excellent venue in its own right with a capacity of 250, a small stage, large dance floor and great bar prices too.
If you want to make a night of it, the Boundary has 14 high quality bedrooms, with some INCREDIBLE discounts available for our clients, if you mention When the Music Stops at the time of booking. So if you're travelling a fair distance, or fancy a lie in the morning, it's from just £22.50 per person for a double or twin room, based on 2 sharing and that includes 2 Full English breakfasts into the bargain. The Boundary is a truly excellent venue, it's a Pub, Hotel, Conference and Entertainment Centre all rolled into one. Tucked away on the Broadmeadow's estate in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
It is located literally a mile from Junction 28 of the M1. It can also be approached from both the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A38 1 mile south of the Motorway Island.
