Speed Dating Media Information
When the Music Stops, Speed Dating and the Media
When the Music Stops have established an excellent reputation for a range of popular dating events and as a result we often appear in the media. The press often want to give us a try to see for themselves how much fun speed dating (aka speeddating) and our many other singles events really are.
If you are a media professional and wish to have future press releases circulated to you please email media@whenthemusicstops.com. Our team members are available for interview and comment. We have experience with various media organisations and have been involved with some of the UK’s best known TV programmes:
| Trinni and Susannah Undress the Nation | In the UK, we all seem to be fascinated by dating and who’s going out with who. Whether it’s among our own circle of friends or we are reading about the latest hot couple in the celebrity columns, we are all obsessed with other people’s love lives.
Trinny and Susannah recently joined us for Over 40’s Speed Dating in Nottingham and selected three of our lovely ladies to star with them for the day. A complete makeover was offered as the reward for agreeing to appear on their hit show, now on ITV1. |
| Rupert Everett goes Speed Dating with the Friday Night Project |
This was quickly followed by a special feature on The Friday Night Project, Channel 4’s cult Friday night viewing. Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr gave their special guest star, film actor Rupert Everett, the chance to try Speed Dating and they came along to one of our events in London.
We gave them a lock and key party followed by speed dating and everyone had a great time…so you never know WHO you might bump into at a When the Music Stops event.

What will you think after hearing Julie presenting her case?

| ITN Central News - Anna Church (Broadcast December 2007) |
Anna Church had an unusual topic to present this time.
Anna visited a couple to interview them about their rather unique engagement. Ivan had proposed to Rainey at one of our Dance Party events - an event where they first met a few months previously.
