The Paul Trussell Music Show |
Paul has extensive experience of the music industry and has worked as a DJ in some of the top hotels in the Midlands for around 25 years (He claims he started as a boy back in 1979) including the famous Centre Parcs leisure complex.
He also has radio experience and this has helped him develop from working 'just as a DJ' into fronting an extensive music show across a wide spectrum of music. This has brought him work as an entertainer throughout the UK.
Paul's ideas to develop our Party Nights at Yew Lodge include a very uptempo first hour to get people into the venue much earlier to provide even better value for money. This will include our brand new 'That was the year that was'
competition where you can hear favourite tracks and news snippets from a particular year and the chance for you to identify which year it really is, with a bottle of wine available for the winner.
We will also be featuring some regular 'Excuse Me' slots for you to ask that special person to dance that you've had your eye on. Our popular Music Quiz will now have a cash prize 'pot' linked to it each week and your chance to win up to £100 as the prize pot accumulates. Celebrations Disco |
Established in 1976, Celebrations are one of the longest running best-known mobile discos in the East Midlands. The team - David and Kevin Metcalfe are well known faces to many of our regular When the Music Stops clients.
Celebrations provide an outstanding mix of sounds from as far back as the sixties and seventies right up to today's chart successes - they can vary the tempo and tone according to the individual tastes of a particular audience and include a spectacular light show.
Originally started all those years ago by the boys father Peter, Celebrations are adept at creating a superb party atmosphere at our events. When the Music Stops are proud to be associated with such professional entertainers. |
Ten Till Midnight |
These are a tremendously popular Disco duo with DJ's Tony and Pete. Since we started to work with them, they have really captured the hearts of the When the Music Stops audiences.
Tony is the consummate professional on the microphone specialising in the sounds of the eighties and nineties, with a great mix of Tamla Motown and dance music whilst Pete is responsible for bringing us a unique light show.
Ten till Midnight have adapted well to our over 30's target audiences and quickly built up a strong following at our various venues, with an excellent range of sounds designed to ensure our Singles Dance Parties continue to gather momentum. |
