At WTMS we try to cater for everybody’s needs and we recognise that attending a dating event on your own can be daunting for many people. To help we created our unique guarantee and made the promise that if you are prepared to take that important first step of booking that when you arrive, you won’t be alone for more than a few seconds. Our friendly staff will introduce you to someone else - usually of the same sex initially.

There is a new Party Night event at the Beauchief Hotel, Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield, every Friday night from the 2nd January 2009. We are told that Sheffield is crying out for this type of event, as very little exists and the Beauchief is certainly a lovely venue - very upmarket and sophisticated for nice people.

We hope that it will prove to be very popular - but let us know what you think about it and please give us feedback after the event too.

Well we asked for your successes but there must be some failures out there too. Most of us like to keep them very close to our chest but if there is something you can share - we’d like to hear about it.

Maybe we could all learn something from that experience? Go on be brave!

I have read many comments about internet based dating with interest and I’m surprised that it has had such a bad press. My own view is that it represents great value for money and must be at least one of the most successful ways of meeting the opposite sex in the UK today. Do others feel the same? I’d love to hear of your experiences whether good and bad.

When the Music Stops run a Party Night at the Boundary Hotel, South Normanton, Derbyshire. We would love to hear your opinions about this event and would welcome comments on how it compares with others.

It’s now 6 years since When the Music Stops came into being - during that time around 20,000 matches have occurred that we know of and there are probably thousands more that we don’t - at events like speed dating, dinner parties, party nights and online.

We’d like to know more about them if possible, so don’t be shy, let’s hear about your successes. We know of several marriages, engagements, couples living together and little WTMS kids coming along too and that makes us very proud.
