The White Hart, Telford
An eighteenth century Inn situated on the water front close to The Ironbridge. The White Hart has been around since before The Bridge was built and almost certainly accommodated craftsman and construction workers during the building of the bridge. There is also evidence to suggest that on occasions some of these workmen also used the bar!
There have been stories of ghosts of previous landlords & things that “go bump in the night” but these are probably old wives tales told by the playful locals in the bar after one too many Pimm's & lemonade White Hart Ironbridge has been transformed into what has become Ironbridge's newest addition to the river front. A long 'L' shaped bar & drinking area, complimented by dining booths & cosy tables.
The restaurant fine dining area features high ceilings and magnificent modern chandeliers. Upstairs however is the stunning, secluded restaurant and seats forty plus, is open everyday for lunch and dinner. It has fantastic views over the River Severn from almost every table.
The White Hart does not have a car park but there is parking on the road in designated areas, or across the bridge in the main car park. To access this car park follow the river road, & follow the signs. Parking is free in Ironbridge in the evenings.
