A GREAT way of meeting and a fun way of earning a living |
I first came to a When the Music Stops event in March 2004, having been single for almost 10 years since I was widowed in 1994. I was impressed not only by the professionalism with which they ran things but also by this SUPERB new way of meeting people and new potential partners.
I had done the Internet dating thing and had even tried the Newspaper small ads but with no real success and one or two disturbing even worrying experiences, some downright insulting ones too. This made me ask myself the question 'Am I putting myself in danger meeting total strangers in this way?' and although its probably a chance in a hundred that maybe something might go wrong, it was too big a risk to take for my kids sake.

| So enter When the Music Stops and the chance to search for new friends and my ideal partner in a totally safe, supervised environment. I remember that first event so well, sitting in a private room in a smart upmarket hotel with low lights, candles on the tables and romantic music playing in the background. I just thought 'What a great idea, what a great environment' and not only to find my Dream date but to meet loads of nice female friends as well. With lots of success too, meeting lots of nice people from both sexes, people that I can now ring and say 'Let's go out for a drink this week' and have a good old natter with and put the world right. People sound charming chatting on the internet and even on the phone but you can suddenly see them in their true colours on a proper date and that's scary, when they turn nasty or insulting just because they don't get all of their own way. |

| That perfect partner has eluded me so far but I have made several really special and close male friends so who knows what will develop in the future.
I was so taken by this new concept and new way of meeting that in August of 2004, I decided I'd like to get more involved with it and When the Music Stops had got just the package for me. I became a 'Franchise Partner' and purchased the right to run events of my own in the Leicestershire and Peterborough area.
I’m now running 3 events a week on average, dinner parties, speed dating and party nights and my franchise is starting to go REALLY well and it’s been producing a really substantial income for me, so much so that I have now begun to help others who are interested in becoming part of When the Music Stops. After all where better to learn the strengths and weaknesses of the business than from somebody who has already become a success.
The best bit for me though is not making literally now hundreds of pounds from running each event, but it's bringing the people together that does it for me. There is nothing nicer than getting congratulatory emails and phone calls after an event thanking me for organising it, bringing a little sunshine into the lives of people in the UK too. It's a concept and a business venture that I would heartily recommend to you either full time or part time based around your other commitments. Go for it, is what I would say! |
