About Us – When the Music Stops

When the Music Stops came into being in January 2003 and has subsequently become THE national dating organisation, set up and run by singles exclusively for other singles.

The meeting culture in the UK has changed over the last 2 decades. People seem to go out to have a great time and to enjoy the company of friends these days rather than just specifically meeting others in mind. Unfortunately that leaves a gap in the marketplace for those of us who are unattached – just where do you go or what do you do to meet others in those circumstances, particularly if most of your existing circle of friends, are married or already in permanent relationships?

If you don’t want to participate in the Clubbing scene or meet in noisy Pubs and Bars and (as the stats tell us) that over 70% of the clientele in that kind of establishment are married or in a committed relationship - we can understand why! It can be difficult to find places to go to broaden your circle of friends and to find new partners. But that’s where When the Music Stops comes in.

Our aim is to organise, upmarket, quality events, for nice people, that are held in great venues and offer excellent value for money too. You just join us, relax and enjoy yourself; our commitment to you is that we’ll do all the rest.
